Wow, Hola!
March is Marching on, and I haven't written in a little while. Here are a few changes around here:
SPRING. We can see lots of grass in the neighborhood now; the slightly warmer temps and rain have melted our snow down, inch by inch.

Our sump pumps are working overtime, and we have NOT had water in the hous
e! Yippee, I can't tell you how relieved that makes me. Every. Single. Day.
(Blast from the recent Past: Exactly one year ago today, our flooding nightmares started. Basement water, round-the-clock shop-vac...I can feel myself start to hyperventillate just thinking about it. Anybody have a paper bag?)

ara helping him blow out his candle. Happy Birthday, Frank!CHANGE. Frank has been working (another thing we are HUGELY grateful for), while looking for a job, since about November. He's been with this company for three years, and our expectations for the position and company have not come to fruition. Time to make a change.

iple interviews and meeting bosses and team members, he accepted an offer with Hewlett-Packard. Also known as "HP"--go ahead, look around your house--I bet you have SOMEthing in your house from HP! Printer? Laptop? Phone? He'll start a week from tomorrow. Still in Human Resources, except now instead of pharmaceuticals, it's a technology company.

We will set up an office for him in our house. Lots of phone calls, computer work and video conferencing, a little travel and voila! No commute. Should be interesting--we've never done that before.
Onward and upward! Hope spring is inching its way towards YOUR neck of the woods.
Have a great week, love, Kari

Congratulations on the new job, Frank! Do you have to stay in Boston, since it is home-based? We'd sure love to have you come back west..... We, too, are happy spring is coming:)
Gotta agree with sis - Boston's so far away - you haven't tried Arizona YET.........my printer's an HP and so are the ones at school! :-)
sounds like things are moving along...yes, maybe you should come back to newbury park...
It is funny how some memories make you hyperventilate or at the least make you groan. We had one car trip between Colorado and Utah where my 2 1/2 year old said, "Daddy, hold you" for 4 hours straight. Honestly, that phrase makes me quiver when I think about it.
Wow! That's big changes! So I guess you'll stay in Boston? What???.....more and more and more snow for you in the future???!! I think it's great. I'm glad that he didn't have time without a job. Happy spring...it was like 92 degrees here today. Not spring in my opinion, but it is supposed to cool down the end of the week.

Has it been this long since I have seen your blog? Crazy. Congratulations on your new adventure. Lifestyle change for sure- for everyone. I'm looking at my HP printer this very second. Yep, HP is everywhere even up in here in Canada!
