Hello!
Well, here is one of my last entries for 2007—can you believe it! I have to agree with one of my friends in a Christmas letter…all she and her husband needed for Christmas was new watches, the kind that would SLOW DOWN time.
Christmas Day was very fun but relaxing at our house…for me, there’s always the rush and hectic finish-up-the-details before Christmas, then on the actual day it’s rather anti-climactic. “What? That’s IT?...”
The kids got some toys and games they are having fun with, though, so those can occupy some time now, during the rest of the break.
Teresa got some airsoft pellet guns, so she and David (and their dad) have been practicing target shooting with those. They all got this bouncy thing,
like a pogo stick but different, and they’ve bounced inside and out, forever, on that.
And a ring toss/ball game we can play outside, since it’s cool temps, but not too bad outside right now.
I’ll also include a “learning sample” of my new obsession…digital scrapbooking! So much to learn, so little time. My Christmas gift to myself was the book “Photoshop Elements 5 for Dummies.” (How can you pass up a Borders coupon for 40% off??) Anyway, here is David’s last haircut.

Um, I don't normally feel this way but well, I'm jealous! Digital scrapbooking-Thats amazing! They think of everything! I decided to make time for scrapbooking this semester. I do have some "college adventures" to catch up on from semester 1-yay! Then again, I say I will have extra time this semester and I'll probably wake up in just a few minutes(: have a great weekend! P.S. How do I put "security" on my blog?
What fun pictures. Clark actually asked me to cut his hair today which was a huge suprise to me. I cut his hair just before leaving on his mission and according to him it was not good at all (to put it nicely). He has not let me near his head since so for him to ask me to trim his hair was quite a shock to me. Then Brad piped in and he wants me to trim his hair too. They really do love their mom afterall.
one time when i was cutting or rather shaving russ' hair (my boys had buzzes in those days) i shaved him with a zero, uh oh...and boy did he cry...david did a wonderful job in church today...he's a little G.A.
Merry Belated Christmas...and in less than an hour--Happy New Year!
Kudos on taking up the digital scrapbooking. I adore Audrey's creations, and you are following your Dummies book perfectly! I can't think of a better way to display your photos and journaling.
Hi Kari,
I like your blog--they're fun and our family has one too, only mostly my siblings post pictures and I just post comments. Good job on the haircut--I got a new set of clippers for Christmas and gave all three of my boys haircuts this week. It even came with one called a "peanut", a miniature, which was very fun to use. I need to try digital scrapbooking and maybe it would get done!
Happy New Year! Jana
Happy New Year from your Arizona sis! I'm sending my boys to you for cuts from now on! :-)
