Aloha!
OK, here’s your EEEEWWWWwww for the day. Let me preface this story: Years ago, I lived a semester in Oahu, Hawaii.
In that glorious place, we learned through various friends who worked in the restaurant industry, that restaurants there have rodents. Yes, it’s true, it’s a lush, beautiful, green island with LOTS of life, including mice and rats and cockroaches, and those are just the well-known critters. Don’t go back into the kitchen, we were warned, or behind the restaurant where they put their trash…you will NEVER want to eat at McDonald’s, other fast food, or even a “real” restaurant again! So, we didn’t. I have found that in certain circumstances, ignorance is, indeed, bliss.
So, fast-forward to yesterday, when I take an innocent trip to Costco. Get the film processed, pick up a bag of rolls. (I love their rolls.) Get them home and put them on the table as part of dinner. Yummmmmmmmmy.
Then it’s AFTER dinner. I reach into the roll bag to have another one before I clean up. Hmmm. This one looks like it’s already been chewed on. Wait a minute, here’s anot
her one with bits of it missing? AND it looks like little teeth marks, around the edges of it. Further examination of the bag reveals small tears in the bottom of the bag. Oh dear, I believe we are not the only ones who had these for dinner.
Gross.

Not at MY Costco!! (Sometimes not only is ignorance, but denial is also bliss.) I will stick with denial. Well that is a little giggle for the day.
That happened to us one time, but with candy. Dallas won a huge basket of candy from the school PTSO and we all indulged on it for a few weeks. When we got to the bottom, some of the Reese's pb cups had tiny bites out of them - I decided just to not think about it! :-)
Is anyone sick or have rabies yet?! I'll be sure to give you a call when I get back from Mexico and tell you every detail!
ewweeeweeee is right. We have a little kitchen area on the floor in the basement(don't ask)with our canned goods and such and have yet to see our food nibbled on. I think Costco needs a few cats in the warehouse.
no way! that is really sickening...i was afraid as i was reading that you were going to pull one out of the bag!
